ENAGEO Reinforces Ethical Culture with a Comprehensive Code of Ethics

As part of its ongoing commitment to uphold the highest legal and ethical standards, ENAGEO has published a revised Code of Ethics. This reference document affirms the company’s dedication to transparency, professionalism, and respect for human rights across all operational levels and regions.

The Code defines the ethical values and behavior expected from all ENAGEO stakeholders—including employees, managers, directors, shareholders, suppliers, and partners. It aims to foster a peaceful, inclusive, and trustworthy working environment, while protecting the company’s integrity, image, and long-term sustainability.

Purpose and Scope

The primary objective of the Code is to enhance ENAGEO’s credibility and reinforce the trust of stakeholders by setting out clear standards of conduct. It also contributes to improving social cohesion within the workplace, nurturing a sense of belonging and engagement among employees.

The Code applies broadly to all internal and external stakeholders of the company, ensuring consistency in ethical behavior across all interactions and business practices.

Defined Roles and Shared Responsibilities

The effective implementation of the Code is a shared responsibility:

  • Employees are expected to internalize and apply the Code in all situations, respect applicable regulations, and report any violations using the company’s alert system.

  • Managers have a duty to lead by example, promote ethical practices among their teams and contractors, and maintain open channels of communication to address ethical concerns.

  • The Ethics Committee, a permanent body reporting directly to the President and CEO, ensures oversight and regular evaluation of ethical practices. This committee is composed of both internal representatives and independent members, reflecting ENAGEO’s commitment to impartial governance.

A Tool for Sustainable and Responsible Growth

Through this Code of Ethics, ENAGEO strengthens its institutional integrity and operational transparency, positioning ethics as a pillar of its corporate culture and long-term development.

The Ethics Alert System

ENAGEO provides its employees and other stakeholders with an alert system to report, via dedicated and secure channels, any practice or behaviour contrary to ethical values as defined in its code of ethics.

This system guarantees the confidentiality of the information collected and provides protection for whistleblowers in good faith against any form of retaliation.

The transmission of alerts must be carried out exclusively, through the following channels:
